What Makes a Jenkins Project
Every project on this page began with a conversation about protecting a building for the long term. Some are new slate roof installations, some feature custom copper work, and others are restorations that have brought century-old roofs back to life. What they all have in common is the same commitment to quality craftsmanship, traditional materials, and careful attention to the details that ensure every roof performs as beautifully as it looks.
Windmill
Featured in a regional newspaper; submitted for an international roofing award in Slovakia. The restoration of a historic windmill - one of the projects Orion is most proud of.
Joseph Project
This project features North Country Black slate, our signature woven valleys incorporating Penrhyn Purple slate, and Newfoundland Purple Bogen-style slate on the dormer walls. All flashing was executed in 20-ounce copper.
George Project
This is a new slate installation on a newly constructed home in Western Pennsylvania. The roof features North Country Unfading Black slate, with all flashings executed in 20-ounce copper.
Bates Project
This was a distinctive project on a historic home in the French Country District of Coral Gables, Florida (Miami). The roof features Spanish Cafersa black slate supplied by North American Slate, LLC. Select sections were detailed in traditional double-lock standing seam copper in preparation for a future solar installation. The pool house includes three-dimensional copper diamond detailing.
